Me plan (after years of BM2k experience(BridgeMaster2000)) goes like this...
Take ace then if KS offside im down
duck ace then if Ks offside im down
hmmm....Seems like the K is onside then!
So best play seems to be duck it, I do and it runs around to the queen
Hang on he lead the J from KJ. Awesome
I then realise there is a safety play and cash the AS. nothing good happens but i lead a small one to the J anyway LHO low, right hand discards?
So my LHO ( who im begginingg to call Dopey) Has ducked the Ks when he can take it remove my third spade from dummy setting the contract? He must just want a bad score
I cash the AKQJ of hearts and she rolls home with the diamond ruff
It's cold off on any other lead but hey!
When asked his lead he said, well with a sure trump trick I wanted you to have to guess at trick one. Well interesting idea and true the A/single/void is over you but.....really, dont try n sound good when u have let it through with 2!! pieces of mis-defence!
