I'd play it as small to the king because you cant really play small to the J leaving the king on its own bcoz decent defeders wud perhaps have played count. Next trick is a bit well hard. If the king was a sucess then the ace is in the L hand and will kill the jack, there is not point hoping it was a doubleton bcoz that leaves QT to your jack and basically if the K holds id just play small to a small hoping the ace doesnt drop then next time just play a small one. If the K failed I'd play small to the Jack.
Aint a good place to look for tricks 3 tops with a lucky 3-3 and A onside

If you're going to play it that way, you must play small to the 7 unless the 5 was played on the first round.

how can the 5 not fall?? how can the 5 possibly hold the trick unless you have the worst split ever.
think about it. The 5 is the lowest card out. I cant think of any hand apart from
K3 8 AQT95 J7642 where it went 2-> K taken and then you later lead 3 to the 5 then 2 but surely covering the 5 is ultra automatic. -------------------------- Aside to this ever though of just editing the post rather than doubling up --------------------------- Aside -- How to make a singleton 5 of trumps the sweetest way yet You are playing in Durham uni with a poor p (good partnerships are banned) and you pick up 11 with 3-1-4-5 and rekon with anything the right game is either 4S or 3nt either can be with a 1nt opener and if game isnt there 1nt stops oppo more often and so i place 1nt in 2nd seat. Partner then transfers to hearts as expected but with my hand playing its going to be a nightmare to get a count and defend correctly, not balanced and not pointed properly. a small heart (2) is lead and p's hearts are KQT973 and well T wont ever work and big just gives problems later so going with my already large bluff i call for small RHO places the 4 and well err my singleton five of trumps held the first trick with a trump lead, peachy!! I got on to play it 1 off for a huge top since oppo have part scores here there and well there too smooth playA!!!

There is also the possibility of a meaningless falsecard, but I did think of that. You need to state such super-obvious things as that, at least for my benefit. Being as slow and stupid as I am, I need all the help I can get.
