I'll be the first to admit I've neglected the place far too much but I think it's about time we got things back on track.
If anyone still reads this forum please post here with ideas to get the place buzzing again.
My first plan is to attract more members again. Not just Scots but all nationalities. Sites such as Durham uni's poorbridge.com will be targetted and if you know any juniors on BBO get them linked to here. The more people we have the more contributions to whatever topics.
Could people post interesting hands from their playing or BBO hands etc to get discussion going?
We need to justify this forum's existence - lets get all juniors coming here.

Hey, not been here in a while.
Yeah, the forum has really died, hasn't it? Also, according to Scottishjuniorbridge.net, it has been 'exam time in Scotland' for about a year and a half constantly! Who is in charge of that nowadays?
Would be nice to get the forums moving again. I think the first step should be to get the next generation of Scots involved. Get the new Under 20 squad on here and lets hope their youthful enthusiasm will get some posts on the go.

I was looking back at the archive not long ago, and I will be frank now, I got emotional. I was reading the its a Mini Adventure marathon and the sense of nostalgia drew a tear as I munched on my raw onion. It was quite poignant. Those were the great days.
We are now my friend, a growing, ageing number. My beard has a white hair and my right hand shakes when in a certain position (NOT WHAT YOU ARE AUTOMATICALLY THINKING!!!!!), but a result of injury with a certain rope (I may sue Catherine ). But we can revive this forum with interesting and lively natter (which can include some bridge).
Miles, I believe, is the site manager but he is apparently overwhelmed in work, but police evidence shows that it could be excessive messenger use.
It is possible for us OAPs, some who will soon not to be able to call themselves students, to revive this for the younger ones, i.e. Joan's possy need to get on here. Plus I think if we chose a night we could all meet on bbo that may help, i dont think you can actually have a massively quick conversation on here, especially when we dont really talk to each other inbetween competitions.
P.S. it is legal to respond to my quiz, it has been there for 2 months.
